Mt. Fuji Ryokucha
The August 2026 Sakuraco tea is a Ryokucha[1] from Harukiya (Yamanashi).[2]
“Carefully produced by a long-established tea maker in Yamanashi, this ryokucha green tea reflects a legacy of Japanese tea craftmanship spanning more than a century. This infusion offers a clean umami, gentle earthy notes, and a smooth finish.”
Fine powder in a teabag.
Aroma: green fields
Liquor: bright green (slightly cloudy from the ground powder)
Flavour: slightly sweet, vegetal with seaweed umami undertones. Lovely, everyday green tea.
