Post Vacation Blues

It is hard to come back to work and push ahead full-steam without reimaging lying on that beach, the amazing archaeological sites you saw, and the incredible food you ate. Of course, I was gone for a full 5 1/2 weeks and experience told me I’d be inundated on return…but reality just sometimes sucks. The good part is seeing my lovely staff after being away, and feeling needed. I was also somewhat grateful that there was no snow on the ground yet, so I have a bit of time to readjust to good ol’ Canadian winters.❄️

I wasn’t writing a lot while away (too busy enjoying myself) but I have lots of content to share in the coming weeks and months about this latest trip (stay tuned).

In the meantime, all of us at Alberta Wilderness Association are busy preparing for our Annual Lecture (coming up on November 14) with award recipient and speaker Corb Lund, and our Annual General Meeting (November 15). I’m also wading through 1400+ emails - so please be patient.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask in the Comments section below. Have a great week! 😀
