World Bee Day 2025🐝

I wanted to just share some of my photos of bees that I’ve taken over the past couple of years (in Alberta). Please note that honey bees are NOT native to North America. They were introduced as livestock in the 17th century.[1]

β€œWe ought to do good to others as simply as a horse runs, or a bee makes honey, or a vine bears grapes season after season without thinking of the grapes it has borne.”
